ENFIELD: Great Cambridge Road
Raine & Co. acted for B&Q in securing the lease of a retail warehouse of 102,000 sq ft, plus 25,000 sq ft garden centre and 19,000 sq ft building yard, from Hyperion/ Standard Life.
The DIY store anchors a 160,000 sq ft retail and leisure redevelopment of former industrial buildings fronting the A10 Great Cambridge Road.
SITTINGBOURNE: Sittingbourne Retail Park, Mill Way
Raine & Co. acted for Homebase in securing the lease of a 33,000 sq ft DIY store and 10,500 sq ft garden centre within a 140,000 sq ft retail park development by Sittingbourne Retail Park Limited.
GILLINGHAM: Former Civil Service Sports Ground, Watling Street
Raine & Co. acted for B&Q in acquiring their largest ever store.
Raine & Co. introduced the site and subsequently acted in negotiations for the unconditional purchase from Civil Service Sports Club of the long leasehold interest in this disused sports ground.
Following a successful planning appeal, B&Q undertook the development comprising a 140,000 sq ft DIY store, plus 30,000 sq ft garden centre, 20,000 sq ft building yard and 600 car spaces.
