BALHAM: Balham Triangle Site

Raine & Co. acted for Sainsbury’s in the site assembly, involving acquisitions from Wandsworth Borough Council, Lidl and others, of the land required for the substantial extension of a store which had been earmarked for closure.


The resultant Sainsbury’s scheme was the catalyst for significant improvement in the locality and won the Wandsworth Borough Council Mayor’s Award for Regeneration.

 

BRIGHOUSE: Milestone Wharf, Mill Lane

Raine & Co. were appointed by Sainsbury’s to assist during negotiations to acquire the freehold of a 2.2 acre former industrial site for a 32,000 sq ft superstore.

 

DRONFIELD: Wreakes Lane

Raine & Co. assisted Sainsbury’s during negotiations to acquire the freehold of this 8 acre industrial site for a superstore development.

 

EPSOM: Epsom Station

Raine & Co. acted for Tesco Express in securing the lease of a 4,000 sq ft convenience store in the redevelopment of Epsom Station by Solum Regneration for retail, hotel and residential uses.

 

SHEERNESS: Bridge Road

Raine & Co. acted for Tesco in the purchase of this 50,000 sq ft store, 500 space car park and petrol station, on a site and shell basis, from Townprior.


The store is built on a former ravelin coastal battery and fairground on the edge of Sheerness town centre.

 

SITTINGBOURNE: Former Football Club

Raine & Co. acted as agents, and property and development consultants, on behalf of Sainsbury’s in the development of a 58,000 sq ft superstore and car park on a former football ground on the edge of Sittingbourne Town Centre.

WARLINGHAM: Limpsfield Road

Raine & Co. acted for Sainsbury’s in this complex site assembly requiring the acquisition of 10 properties for the development of a 44,000 sq ft superstore and car park on the outskirts of Warlingham.
